Two Different Modes

Night-light Mode

When in Night-light Mode, use the three-position timer switch to set the night-light timer. You can choose 5, 15, or 30 minutes. When the time is up, the light will shut off and Pawz will power down. There are five night light color options to choose from: white, green, blue, yellow, and purple. To change the color of the night-light, press the button on Pawz’s right foot. Each time you press Pawz’s foot, you will see the next color.

Mindfulness Mode

When in Mindfulness Mode, choose from three breathing activities by pushing the button on Pawz’s right foot. Each breathing activity uses a different color light so children can easily identify which breathing activity they are doing. Pawz will power off automatically after two minutes of inactivity.

Laddered Breath—Yellow Light 

Square Breath—Green Light 

Breathing Activities

4 x 4 Breath- Blue Light

 

As the light gets brighter, breathe in for four seconds.

 

 

Hold your breath for one second at the top of your inhale—the light will stay bright. 

 

 

As the light fades, exhale for four seconds. 

 

 

Hold your breath for one second at the bottom of your exhale—the light will stay off. 

 

 

This cycle will repeat four times. When the activity is over, the light turns off. Press the button on Pawz’s right foot to advance to the next breathing activity.

Laddered Breath- Yellow Light

 

As the light gets brighter, breathe in for three seconds.
   
Hold your breath for one second at the top of your inhale—the light will stay bright. 
   
As the light fades, exhale for three seconds.  
   
Hold your breath for one second at the bottom of your exhale—the light will stay off  
   
As the light gets brighter, breathe in for four seconds. 
   
Hold your breath for one second at the top of your inhale—the light will stay bright.
   
As the light fades, exhale for four seconds. 
   
Hold your breath for one second at the bottom of your exhale—the light will stay off. 
   
This cycle will repeat three times. When the activity is over, the light turns off. Press the button on Pawz’s right foot to advance to the next breathing activity.

 

Square Breath- Green Light

 

As the light gets brighter, breathe in for five seconds. 
   

Hold your breath for five seconds at the top of your inhale—the light will stay bright. 

   
As the light fades, exhale for five seconds. 
   
Hold your breath for five seconds at the bottom of your exhale—the light will stay off.
   
This cycle will repeat four times. When the activity is over, the light turns off. Press the button on Pawz’s right foot to return to the first breathing activity.
