LAUSD’s Commitment to Making Learning Accessible and Engaging at Home…Without Technology
At the start of this school year, educators and administrators at Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) found themselves struggling with how to counteract the combined impact of students’ loss in literacy proficiency from COVID-19 and lack of engagement in remote learning that relies on technology. That’s when they decided to take a different approach and make hands-on resources available to all their K–5 students.
