The standards covered in Unit 5 are: focuses on how to identify fractions of a whole/region and a set. The unit then moves on to comparing fractions through model drawing and the use of number lines. Equivalent fraction models and number lines are also introduced as well as fraction word problems. The end of the unit focuses on relating fractions to division and time.
