There are countless benefits to STEM education….real world problem solving, hands-on engagement, meaningful collaboration, and so much more.
The 2020-2021 school year has caused the world of education to adapt and evolve in many ways that we’ve never experienced. Keeping students at a safe social distance has created challenges for STEM educators and students who thrive in collaborative learning environments. As advocates for all things hands-on learning, hand2mind and I were eager to find a simple, open and play solution to keep the magic of STEM Bins alive in classrooms while allowing students to create and explore independently.
Our brand new STEM Bins Learn and Play packs are filled with a variety of construction manipulatives that are perfect for 1-2 students in Grades K-5th! Paired with the 6 double-sided task cards with photos real world structures, kids can combine materials in unique ways to create models, structures, and inventions. There is also a write and wipe blueprint card and marker included for students to draw and write about their creations.
STEM Bins Learn and Play packs are sold individually and in packs of four. They also make wonderful birthday gifts for elementary aged kids!
