Packaged in child-sized backpacks that every student will treasure, the Learning Place for Families PreK Skill-Building Backpacks provide hands-on activities to engage families in supporting their child’s development of essential math and literacy skills at home. Each Prekindergarten backpack includes:

• A Family Guide (in English and Spanish) outlining activities that can be done in the context of familiar surroundings and themes, such as All About Me and Where I Live, to develop their child’s language, literacy, and math skills.
• An entertaining, dual-language book to read, re-read, and talk about together.
• Easy-to-Follow Hands-On Activities and Resources offering fun, academic ways to see, think, and talk about beginning math skills and concepts.
