"It complemented our Every Day Math curriculum and followed all the strands for Preschoolers.

I have been a Title I Wonder Years Preschool teacher for 19 years and was truly amazed by one of the InfoTrek big books. I read the book "Pattern Farm" to my preschool class of four-and-five year olds this year. I have never had such an easy time teaching the concept of pattern ever before. Within one setting the students actually grasped the concept and were soon making patterns everywhere. One child pointed out patterns on a turkey feather this week. I asked a girl, "What color is your shirt?" She said, "It's a pattern!" The students demanded we make a pattern of our links for counting tens and ones. They HAVE to be a pattern! It usually takes months to teach this concept and they often never get it. Thanks so much for the wonderful writing and sharing of concepts so that a preschooler can get it. We love these books!
