Build Content Vocabulary Through Virtual Field Trips for Grades 1-3!
Discover how this research-based resource with its simulated field trip approach actively involves students in increasing their knowledge and comprehension of new content vocabulary!
Two social studies and two science themes at each grade level feature nonfiction books for teachers to read aloud, posters to “visit” and talk about together, games, and other activities for dynamic learning. Designed to stimulate students’ senses and encourage discussions, just as in a real field trip, the materials provide a rich context for anchoring new content words to the vocabulary and concepts children already know.
