Core PD Online Self-Directed Learning Options

Core PD offers cost effective and engaging online courses that are available when you are. The flexible, modular design includes discovery-based, hands-on learning strategies teachers can easily implement in their classrooms. Courses can be accessed for 90 days and take 10–12 contact hours.

Core PD On Location Group Learning Options

The Core PD On Location, facilitates customizable sessions that promote lively discussion through the introduction of hands-on teaching practices by experts. Our teaching experts facilitate on-site events that will inspire you with practical and effective strategies you can incorporate in your classroom right away.

Core PD Blended Learning Options

The Core PD Blended Model offers school districts an unique combination of on-site and individual instruction. While on-site bridge theory and practice through lively discussion, demonstrations, and problem solving. Core PD Graduate Credits

Hand2mind is proud to offer graduate workshop credit for Understanding the Mathematical Practices and Where’s the Math? Graduate workshop credit is intended for updating certification.

Registration

The fee paid to hand2mind includes course tuition and fees for hand2mind and John Carroll University (JCU). After purchasing the course, participants will receive a JCU registration form via email.

  • Complete the form and email to coordinator@hand2mind.com or fax to 847.281.2580
  • Refer to the online calendar for start dates and final registration deadlines
  • Please note there are no refunds after the final registration deadline

Grades and Transcripts

  • All courses requirements must be completed on or before the final date to submit work.
  • Grades will be entered and posted on the JCU website approximately one week after the final day for submitting assignments.
  • Grade reports will not be mailed, however, instructions for accessing the grade report will be sent to you when your registration is complete.
  • The course is graded with a letter grade A–F.
